Samsung may launch a "truly" edge-to-edge TV at CES 2020

A South Korean newspaper quoted sources as saying that Samsung plans to launch Unlimited TV next week at the CES 2020 Consumer Electronics Show.

Alec said: Sources on December 27th learned that the company's employees liked the product at an internal meeting before it was released. Samsung plans to start mass production TVs in February next year.

The site added that Samsung removed the edges of the TV by more than 65 inches and instead attached the screen to the condition of the TV. The company used components from Korean companies.

Elec quotes a developer who worked on the project: "Unlike other products with no borders that already have edges, this product has no edges." He added: "Samsung is the first company to offer such exaggerated designs." He added that some employees of the company are concerned about the integrity of the structure, which could mean a separation between the screen and the subject.
