Samsung plans to introduce a new solution to display the contents of one device faster and easier on another device, while the South Korean giant reports to the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). 5 December 2019 A patent application for a new technology called Samsung Tap View has been presented.

The application describes the new Samsung Tap View technology as a program that transmits and displays the screen of a mobile device on the TV screen by clicking on the mobile device on the TV screen, and this technology can be used for TVs, smartphones, tablets, smart watches and smart glasses to be used.

Samsung smartphone users can stream screen content from mobile phones to Samsung TVs with a variety of current options.  Solutions include Samsung AllShare Cast and SmartThings app with screen mirroring.

Apple users also have their own solutions, like: for example, there are screen transfer features outside of AirPlay mode, and there is a way to transfer content to a Sony TV with a mirror screen using NFC technology.  ,

Systems like Miracast or Chromecast ensure smooth copying.  However, prior knowledge may be required to customize wireless network settings or to connect to a user’s Google account.  According to the description of Samsung Tap View, it is clear that the screens of many mobile devices can set up a TV without Wi-Fi, which makes the process less complicated.

It is worth noting that the annual CES 2020 Consumer Electronics Show is scheduled for early next year in Las Vegas.  Samsung will introduce its new model for smart TV in the first half of 2020, and this will obviously be around by this time.  Introduce Samsung Tap View.
