Learn about the size of one minute of 8K video on the Galaxy S20

Samsung announced its new flagship phones (Galaxy S20), (Galaxy S20 Plus) and (Galaxy S20 Ultra) on Tuesday, which are the first phones to support 8K video recording.

But as we all know, the larger the video, the higher the video resolution. So Samsung warns that the size of one minute of the 8K video recorded on the phone is 600MB, which is a huge size compared to the size of one minute of 350MB of 4K video, but it's impressive at the same time because of the 8K - the video is four times higher than 4K video, can One minute would be about 1.2 GB.

Although Samsung is able to create a 1K-8K video with a size of no more than 600MB, recording many videos with this resolution may take only five minutes of a single video, which is 3GB.

It should be noted that the video with 8K resolution that can be recorded using the new device (Galaxy S20) is recorded at 24 fps, this is the standard in Hollywood and in many TV channels. Since Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 990 can shoot up to 30fps, HD videos cannot be shot at 60fps.
