Patents reveal biometric sensor to support the next Dualshock 5 unit

Sony recently patented the dual vibration joystick design for game consoles that include a biometric sensor. The design is designed to support the joystick for the upcoming PS5 console.

The PS5 joystick sensor can measure heart rate and sweat to help the game adapt to user condition and stress. User status data is transferred to PS5 to customize game content based on information.

Expectations indicate that the biometric sensor features provide game users with a unique experience and provide each user with a special gaming experience based on their psychological state or user experience to support immersive gaming experiences, while Dualshock 5 is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor. Open the game console to better control the game and improve game efficiency for young users.

These new technologies are expected to support the Sony version of the console in the future, and we may not see these technologies directly in the next release, especially with the official console version on the PS5.
