Sharp announces its most powerful Aquos R5G phone

Sharp has announced its latest flagship product, the Aquos R5G, with some of the best specs on the phones of its main competitors.

Aquos R5G (available on the Japanese market) is the first 5G network compatible phone from a Japanese company. It features a 6.5-inch QHD + screen, and supports HDR10 technology and Dolby Vision Atmos technology.

The screen has a (comfort) aperture with a 16-megapixel front camera and a (main) button at the bottom of the screen. IPS screen, but it supports 120Hz refresh rate.

On the back of the phone there are four main 12-megapixel cameras, which are mainly used to install optical image, the second for deep photography and optical image stabilization with 12 megapixels, and the third for ultra-wide images 48 pixels. The fourth is a lens for three-dimensional photography. The phone supports 8K video recording.

Internally, Aquos R5G has the latest Qualcomm processor (Snapdragon 865), 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and internal memory is UFS 3.0 256GB and has expansion capabilities. It also has a 3,730 mAh battery, dustproof and waterproof to IP68. The phone can use the Android 10 operating system for programming.

Sharp has not released the Aquos R5G phone price and release details on the global market. The phone is expected to be launched in the Japanese market in the spring of 2020.
