WINDFORCE 2X cooling system has a unique 2 x 90mm paddle fan, spare rotating fan, 3 copper heat pipes installed, direct contact heat pipes and active 3D fans, which together provide dissipation functions. Efficient thermal performance and superior performance at low temperatures.
GIGABYTE's "alternative course" solution can solve the perturbation of neighboring fans. Since the neighboring fans work in the same direction, the direction of air flow between the fans is opposite, which results in turbulence in the airflow and reduces the efficiency of heat dissipation. GIGABYTE spins the neighboring fans in opposite directions to make the airflow directions between the fans similar, reducing turbulence and increasing airflow pressure.
The airflow flows through the edge of the triangular fan gently through the 3D ribbon curve on the fan surface, which effectively improves airflow.
The active 3D fan ensures almost negative heat dissipation and the fan remains off when the GPU is on with low load or low power. When the system is running in a light or inactive state, players can play the game safely.
The pure copper heat pipe shape increases the direct contact area with GPU and thus improves heat transfer. VRAM heat pipes can also be covered by touching a large metal plate to ensure normal cooling.
