WhatsApp makes it difficult to share content on iPhone

WhatsApp Messaging is preparing to make unexpected changes to its iPhone app, making it more difficult to share photos, websites and other interesting clips with contacts.

The news service introduced a new context menu option earlier this year. By opening the context menu (long press on the content the user wants to share or use (3D Touch)) and scrolling, you can easily contact the contacts in the application. Send and share content through commonly used WhatsApp contacts without opening Messenger app first.

Although the update is small, it makes it easy to send links and photos to contacts without opening the app. However, according to the custom monitoring service beta report (WABetaInfo), the service was removed in the latest beta version of this option. The app is for iPhone users and can be removed from the official app soon.

The service has already taken several measures to prevent the spread of false information against the emerging coronary pandemic, including strengthening news checks, introducing the new Corona Virus Information Center, and limiting the number of common messages to prevent the spread of falsehoods.

However, this new change in contact sharing appears to be unrelated to these processes, but rather tries to make the app more stable. The updated context menu is a good idea in theory, but users report it frequently pending when using it.

The new integrated context menu for conversations and groups replaces the application context menu used in previous versions. According to this information, the service will now be replaced with the contact sharing function using WhatsApp sharing icon. So users need to click on WhatsApp icon and choose who they want to share the content with.
