In the new update, there is a security token that combines many security service functions. It can be used to quickly lock meetings, remove attendees, restrict screen sharing, and chat in meetings.

By default, most users can extend the range of activation passwords, while IT administrators can reduce the complexity of passwords for service users in business areas. By default, the service activates the waiting room functionality for basic accounts, business accounts, individual licensing accounts, and training accounts. Zoom has improved some cryptographic functionality by switching to the 256-bit GCM AES encryption standard. However, this is not the type of encryption (end-to-end) that the service is said to support.
