Microsoft begins testing a family security app on Android and iOS

Microsoft has launched a new application called "Home Safety" that can manage child screen time and application use.

The American tech giant said on a blog on Monday that the new app was beta released on Android and iOS mobile devices.

If you want to try the app first announced in March of last year, you must fill out a questionnaire to determine the number of family members. The app has been announced as an extension of the main functions of the Windows and Xbox game platforms.

To ensure digital security, the app can not only share the location, but parents can also get reports about screen time and application usage and set time limits. Home Safety also features information synchronization with Windows and Xbox devices. If the screen time is limited to one hour, the hour is counted on all devices.

Microsoft did not say when the app was available in the App Store and the Google Play Store, but confirmed that it relied on guaranteeing the first test experience for test participants.
