WhatsApp supports the participation of 50 people during the video call in the latest beta

WhatsApp will soon be able to make video calls with up to 50 participants on the desktop and offer new alternatives to Zoom, Skype and Google Meet to meet the requirements of video conferencing.

WABetaInfo researchers released new options in the WhatsApp Web beta. The links in the WhatsApp menu takes you to the new Facebook Messenger chat room, where you can create rooms and invite other people, or create a room directly via WhatsApp.

WhatsApp has recently been widely updated to support eight-person video calls on mobile devices. However, if you need to invite more people to a video call, the new shortcut gives you another option.

This feature will be available for iOS and Android, but desktop support makes it a viable alternative to today's video conferencing tools.

When Messenger Rooms launched in April, Facebook Director Mark Zuckerberg said that he will support these meeting rooms through Instagram, WhatsApp and the Facebook portal, and it looks like it will happen soon rather than later.

It is not yet clear when this option will be available in WhatsApp, but the new menu is visible in the latest beta version of the installation file, but has not been activated or integrated into the user interface.
