| Xiaomi runs on a phone with 16 GB RAM |
A new leak from China indicates that Xiaomi is preparing to launch a smartphone with 16 GB of RAM.
Earlier this year, the Mi Mix phone was supposed to provide 16 GB of RAM, but this did not happen, then there was talk of the Mi 10 Pro phone that could offer this size, but not because the maximum size is 12 GB.
Samsung started producing 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM in July last year and 16 GB of RAM in February last year. However, Xiaomi has partnered with Micron to get LPDDR5 storage for Mi10 phones. Micron plans to produce 16 GB of RAM in the second half of this year.
It is not currently known which Xiaomi phone with 16 GB of RAM wants to put on the market. According to the (Micron) license, it could be one of the phones that will be launched in the second half of 2020.
