| Huawei wants to launch a foldable phone with a secondary screen and stylus |
Huawei has registered a patent for a foldable smartphone with a unique design with the National Intellectual Property Office of China.
As mentioned in previous leaks, Huawei intends to bring out a mobile phone with UTG glass and an internally foldable stylus. The new patent confirms this.
The second-generation foldable smartphone (called Mate X2), Mate X2, in addition to the striped display on the side of the main screen, is believed to also be able to offer a foldable design from the inside, which has been highlighted by the new patent.
The patent calls it a "linked sub-screen" that provides context menus and other application information. It will also come with two front cameras, while the back of the phone will contain four cameras.
It should be noted that this is not the first patent for a foldable smartphone that Huawei has received, as it has previously filed a patent application for a foldable smartphone with the European Office of Intellectual Property.
The order page shows that the Chinese company filed the case in early October of last year and registered it in late January of last year. It also appeared with a foldable phone similar to the (Dead X) phone, but with one difference.
Depending on the demand, the mobile phone (Mate X2) - expected to be introduced to the market by Huawei in the third quarter of 2020 - will not differ significantly from (Mate X), especially with regard to the folding mechanism, from the middle level it will be the vertical sidebar Tight.
