With Twitter all iOS users can control who responds to their tweets

About two and a half months ago, Twitter started testing a new way to reduce the number of people who can reply to tweets so that only users can speak to the people they want.

The company has now released an update for its iOS app which will allow testing of more users. The company said: "In May, we tested a new way of talking to the people you really want so you can create and use more meaningful changes." "Now anyone can try this new feature and choose who can reply to their tweets," she said.

To be able to use this feature, Twitter explained that after creating a tweet, users can choose who can reply to it using an option within Tweet. There are three options: everyone, the people you follow, and only the people whose names appear in the Tweet.

It is worth noting that Twitter said in January of last year: This feature will be available to everyone later this year. While this feature limits the number of people who can reply to Tweets, it does allow anyone to view them. Twitter marks tweets to indicate that its response is limited so users can know this in advance.

It is believed that this feature can help users decide who can reply to Tweets to avoid abuse and harassment. By limiting response to a limited group of people, users can have deeper and more focused conversations with people who want without worrying about trolls entering the conversation.

It is not clear whether this feature will now also apply to users of the Twitter on Android app or if it will apply to all Twitter web users.
