OnePlus plans to launch the OnePlus 8T in October

The Chinese company OnePlus has been pursuing a strategy of launching two major phones over the past four years, and the company will continue to use the OnePlus 8T for the same process this year.

The device codename is (Kebab) and the information shown (OnePlus 8T) has a 6.55 inch (AMOLED) screen - just like the OnePlus 8 - the normal refresh rate is 120Hz.

In this particular aspect, using a 120Hz refresh rate could make the OnePlus 8T compatible with the OnePlus 8 Pro, and the phone has two modes to choose from - 60Hz and 120Hz - the latter being identified as from Standard.

Reports confirm that the upcoming phone will have four rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth lens.

The standard device (OnePlus 8) has a triple rear camera, a 48MP main lens, a 16MP wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

The OnePlus 8T camera has the same wide-angle lens as the OnePlus 8, but it does offer a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens.

While the next phone has a 48MP lens as well, it uses a newer image sensor that can deliver better photos.

The other specs are more predictable as the device runs on the Snapdragon 865+ chipset and offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Compared to the regular edition (OnePlus 8), no major changes have been made to the design.

The next device can be run from the user interface, which is based on Android 11 (OxygenOS 11), and (OnePlus 7T) was one of the first phones to use Android 10 last year. So this makes sense. The fact that OnePlus wants to continue using this time (the OnePlus 8T) does the same. ).

OnePlus plans to launch the new device later this month or the first week of October. The timeline is in line with the OnePlus 7T launched on September 29 that we saw last year.

While it doesn't seem like a big update for the OnePlus 8, the OnePlus 8T may well become one of the best Android phones in the second half of 2020.
