Samsung launched Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4 Plus

Samsung today (Wednesday) announced the launch of its Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4 Plus laptops in the UK.

"These models combine elegant design, performance and value, and are ideal for those looking for portable, reliable and affordable devices that fit their everyday lives," the South Korean technology giant said in a statement.

Samsung's new Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4 Plus share some specifications, such as: processor type, RAM size and color.

Both computers have an Intel Celeron N4000 processor, introduced in 2017, and 4GB of LPDDR4 working memory (RAM).

The Chromebook 4 measures 16.7mm thick, weighs 1.18kg, and has an HD display of 11.6 inches. The laptop comes with a plastic wrap. It offers 32GB internal storage and a 720p webcam. The price for this computer is £ 299.

The Chromebook 4 Plus is 16.5mm thick, weighs 1.69kg, has a 15.6-inch FHD screen, and has 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. The 32GB option is £ 349.99 and the 64GB option is £ 379.

Both devices have a USB-C port that can be used to charge cell phones and transfer data at speeds up to 5 gigabits per second. Two computers can be connected to a 4K display.

Since both devices are running ChromeOS, they support access to various Google services and applications. Android apps can also be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Samsung's new Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4 Plus both come with smartphones with Google Assistant.

Both devices are available for purchase from the official Samsung website starting today (Wednesday) in the UK.
