Audio notifications are available through wired headphones

Google Assistant has a new voice notification feature that reads incoming notifications when using wired headphones.

Aside from voice commands, the main aspect of the Google Assistant Speaker is reading incoming notifications.

The notification function applies to all wired headphones, regardless of whether it is a USB Type-C connection or a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

After connecting the wired headset, you should receive a notification from the Google Assistant asking you to speak to the assistant through the headset.

After granting the required permissions, the smart assistant can read your messages on your behalf via audio notifications.

The process was previously reserved for Pixel Buds 2018 on the wired and wireless side of Pixel Buds, Bose, Sony, and others.

Users can use their wired and wireless headphones to activate Google Assistant for a period of time. However, the functionality is limited.

With some bluetooth headsets, users can listen to notifications from assistants as they read it.

Google has now built this feature into all wired headphones. The company has reportedly confirmed that all wired headphones officially support features such as audio notifications.

If a wired headphone is connected to the phone using the USB Type-C port or the 3.5mm headphone port, the Google Assistant will notify you.

Click the notification to start the setup process and you'll need to allow your assistant to read the notification for you.

After granting the wizard additional permissions, the installer should complete.

Ask the user to lock the phone and connect a headset to enable personal results such as calendar events.

You can also go to the device list in Google Assistant settings and tap the wired headset to turn Google Help on or off.

This page also gives users control over which apps can handle audio notifications and get help.

Note that pressing the action button on the headset activates Google Assistant to receive voice commands and you can ask the assistant to collect the number of warnings and read the latest notifications by pressing the action button 2 Wait for seconds.

If your smart assistant is now activated, you'll also see the four Google ads and a mini-panel: How can I help you? Or give search suggestions.
