The UFC mixed martial arts organization has signed a multi-year contract with popular short video sharing platform TikTok to broadcast live mixed martial arts content through social media apps.

The deal mainly includes weekly real-time visual content provided by UFC through Tik Tok, including pre- and post-fight tours, behind-the-scenes spotlight and interactions with athletes.

Through this partnership, TikTok and UFC bring fans hundreds of content every year on UFC, UFCRussia, UFCbrasil and UFCEurope.

Since arriving on the podium in October, the UFC has become the third-most popular sports league to be ranked on TikTok, with over 6.3 million fans.

The organization said: The partnership with TikTok is an important addition to the UFC content distribution system, and we hope fans can consume the content there.

"TikTok is constantly expanding new horizons to reach diverse audiences around the world. This collaboration is a great way to increase awareness of live broadcasts while also bringing engaging content to our fans."

The first live broadcast will begin on February 20 with promotional content from the match between Curtis Blades and (Derek Lewis).

TikTok said: We are very excited to deepen our partnership with UFC and bring a host of powerful exclusive live content to the TikTok community. Sports fans are now more keen than ever to miss the intimate moments they missed when not attending live events.

She added: By partnering with a world-class mixed martial arts organization, we are excited to bring the excitement and excitement to Tik Tok through and through the UFC.

The deal marks the creation of new content for the sports industry after TikTok partnered with esports organization Tundra in October.

Tik Tok has become a destination where sports fans can discover new communities and connect with their favorite sporting events and athletes in new ways.

While the Biden administration is reviewing former president (Donald Trump's) efforts to address potential security risks to Chinese tech companies, the short video app is under censorship in the United States.
