Honor has announced the Magic 3, its first flagship smartphone after splitting from previous parent company Huawei.

The range includes three mobile phones, Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro and Magic 3 Pro Plus.

Mobile phones were first introduced in China. However, the company has clarified that the global version of these phones will be released later.

When they launched globally, these phones came with Google apps and services that the company couldn't accommodate due to US sanctions when it was previously a subsidiary of Huawei.

Google apps and services are designed to make the Magic 3 series more competitive outside of China. Compared to the mobile phones released earlier when they were owned by Huawei, they had to rely on Huawei services and AppGallery when downloading the software.

These phones have a 6.76-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1344 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate and a bracket on the side of the device.

The three rear view cameras of cell phones are very different. The Magic 3 has three lenses, a 50MP primary lens, a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 64MP monochrome lens.

The Magic 3 Pro adds a 64MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS.

The Magic 3 Pro Plus enlarges the main sensor from 50 megapixels to 1 / 1.28 inches. The ultra-wide sensor has a resolution of 64MP.
