After launching the Palm Phone in 2019, the Palm brand launched the next new product. But there is no other smartphone.

On the contrary, the startups that now own the Palm brand have switched to true wireless headphones.

Palm Buds Pro are available for pre-order now for $99, but will later drop to $129.

At this price, you get noise-isolating earphones, 10mm tweeters, and IPX4 water- and sweat-resistant features.

According to the brand, the earbuds follow the concept of a lightweight product that started with the small, unusable Palm TCL.

Palm Buds Pro manufacturer said: Palm produces Palm Buds Pro products with the support of Chinese suppliers.

Thanks to a quick Amazon search, these headphones have the same design (no logo).

This appears to be a fairly common OEM reference design. Although, Palm headphones have more microphones (three per earbud) than these products.

“Our engineers have developed one of the most advanced ANC and ENC systems on the market,” Palm said in a product FAQ.

Palm launches true wireless headphones

The company said its frontrunners include the designers of Beats by Dre and Samsung's most popular headphones.

The company claims that these headphones provide studio sound at a very affordable price. With Active Noise Cancellation activated, battery life should be up to four and a half hours. Disabling this feature can extend it up to 5.5 hours.

If you include charging via the charging case, you can expect a total uptime of over 24 hours.

The headphones have noise-cancelling and transparency modes, as well as ambient noise-cancelling features that allow the person on the other end of the call to better hear your voice through six microphones.

Palm Buds Pro will ship in early November. There is only black. However, if you like more color, the company also sells silicone lids.
