PetSafe Smart Feed Pet Feeder is a convenient solution that allows you to instantly feed your pet when you are at work, shopping or busy at home. The Wi-Fi-enabled feeder connects to your wireless home router (2.4GHz) to work with your iPhone or Android smartphone, so you can feed and monitor your pet's meals anytime, anywhere. Simply download the Smart Feed app to customize your dog or cat's feeding schedule. The feeder can hold up to 24 cups of dry food, so you can schedule up to 12 meals per day, with servings ranging from 1/8 cup to 4 cups to meet your pet's nutritional needs. By controlling the amount of meals you eat, you can easily control your pet's weight if they overeat. If your furry baby tends to eat very quickly, simply press the slow feed button on the app to slowly dispense food within 15 minutes to avoid indigestion. The animal-safe design of the dispenser prevents paws from being pushed into the feeder for more food between meals. When food gets dirty, simply place the lid, bowl, stainless steel bowl and dish basket on the upper basket of the dishwasher. If WiFi malfunctions, please insert a 4-cell alkaline battery with an optional backup battery so that your friend never misses a meal.
