How does this work
Camco Power Grip RV 50A Voltage Protector with Built-in Surge Protection Plugs Directly into the Camp Power Base. When connected, it contains a series of diagnostic LEDs that indicate the status of the source circuit. A light assembly other than the light switch alerts you to electrical problems. Voltage protection protects against reverse polarity faults, open neutral problems, etc. If any of these conditions are present during the initial start-up, no current should be allowed to flow through the RV. After starting, if the light sequence is "Power is OK", the RV is turned on. In the event of a power surge or high/low voltage level at the power supply base, the power supply will not be disconnected and reconnected until normal operating conditions are restored.
The surge protector also has built-in surge protection of up to 4200 Joules. Our train guards are weatherproof and can withstand harsh weather conditions when installed vertically.
