Switch between degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius
You can change the way the temperature is recorded by switching between Fahrenheit or Celsius.
To do this, switch to the OFF position, press and hold the START button, then press and hold the STAND-BY (ON / MEM) button for 3 seconds. Celsius is converted to Fahrenheit. You can switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius in the same way.
Note: Memory is erased when switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit
Surface temperature measurement
You can use the infrared mode to measure the surface temperature of any object such as water, milk, cloth or leather.
To do this, turn on the thermometer, then press and hold the Stand-By (On / MEM) button and the START button at the same time.
You get instant, real-time temperatures that are constantly updated when you press the start button.
Tips for accurate readings
The patient must remain indoors for 30 minutes before the measurement.
The patient and the device must be at the same stable room temperature 15 minutes before the operation.
Always make sure the scanner lens is clean and in good condition.
- If the eyebrow area is covered with hair, sweat, makeup or dirt, please clean the area first to improve the reading accuracy.
Patients should not drink, eat or engage in physical activity before/during the measurement. Remove cap and wait 10 minutes before taking a reading.
