Xiaomi has announced the Poco F4 and Poco X4 GT, offering global versions of the budget devices previously released in China.

The Poco X4 GT features a mid-range Dimensity 8100 chipset with four Cortex-A78 cores and a new Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.

There is a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels (20.5:9), a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 270 Hz.

It is a screen that can render a billion colors and also supports Dolby Vision. Peak brightness is 650 nits, and the panel uses DC dimming. It is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Returning to the chipset, it uses LiquidCool 2.0 thermal management technology with a larger vapor chamber and now houses 7 layers of graphite.

The chipset is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Xiaomi followed up on user requests and brought back the 3.5mm headphone jack. This means that you don't have to worry about Bluetooth response time and you can charge your phone while you play.

The phone has a 5080mAh battery that is charged from an attached 67W power adapter. Going from 0% to 100% takes about 46 minutes.

Xiaomi expands the Poco family

The Poco F4 features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and an X-axis linear driver, along with dual Dolby Atmos speakers. But there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.

The 6/128GB option costs 400 euros, while the 8/256GB option costs 450 euros. The phone will be available on June 27.
