Thomas 4470 Traceable Infrared Gun Thermometer

Thomas 4470 Infrared Gun Thermometer, -60 to 500°C, -76 to 932°F, Accuracy + or -2°C or 2% of Reading

The Thomas 4470 Infrared Thermometer with Laser Pointer is used to measure surface temperatures in a range of commercial and industrial applications. The thermometer measures temperatures from -60 to 500 degrees Celsius (-76 to 932 degrees Fahrenheit) with an accuracy of + or - 2 degrees Celsius or 2% of the reading. Infrared sensors measure surface temperature remotely in hard-to-reach applications, portable, high-temperature devices, or live devices. The distance-to-point ratio is 11:1, which means that at a distance of 1 foot from the target, the spot is approximately 11 feet in diameter. The built-in laser pointer helps improve targeting accuracy for infrared measurements. Operators can choose to display readings in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius. The thermometer is powered by a 9V battery (included). Includes an individually numbered certificate showing traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) from an ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory.

Temperature measurement range -60 to 500°C (-76 to 932°F) Accuracy + or - 2°C or 2% of reading Accuracy 0.1°C from -9.99 to 199.9°C, otherwise 1°C to point distance 11 : 1 apart .95 9v constant power battery (one, included) Weight 6 ounces Dimensions * 7 x 3 x 1.5 inches (H x W x D)

* H is the height, the vertical distance from the lowest point to the highest point; W is the width and the horizontal distance from left to right; D is the depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.

Infrared digital thermometer measures surface temperature remotely. You can measure temperatures in Celsius, Fahrenheit, or both. Infrared (IR) thermometers work by focusing infrared radiation from a surface onto a detector called a thermopile. The hot coolant converts heat into electrical energy, which is measured and converted into a temperature reading. Then the reading is displayed on the LCD screen. Infrared thermometers are used to measure temperature when items are fragile, such as a b-ear thermometer, or when there is a danger nearby, such as. B. Industrial facilities.
