Google is improving videos in its Photos service

Google is planning to introduce a new feature in its cloud photo storage service that will improve the quality of videos.

According to a recent version of the Google Photos app, the new feature allows users to automatically edit and enhance videos with just one touch.

The new feature provides users with the option to “enhance video”. The feature is not currently available to all users of the service, but experts can access it and try it out.

In 2023, Google announced the launch of the “Magic Editor” tool powered by artificial intelligence, which was initially available for Pixel phones but has recently also become available for Android and iOS phones, in addition to Chromebooks.

Google Photos' new video enhancement feature, in the form of a magic wand icon next to the sticky button, automatically adjusts different aspects of your video and improves its quality when you start editing, for example. Adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation and other aspects of your video to make it look better. If you compare the enhanced video to the original video, the enhanced video will look significantly better.

As you can see, the processing takes some time and also depends on the length of the video that the user wants to optimize. Therefore, longer videos may take longer.

Please note that the processing of the video and any changes made to it are done on the user's device and can be saved immediately once the advanced version is downloaded.

Google has not officially revealed this feature yet, but it is expected to be announced at the upcoming developer conference in mid-May.
