Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Unveils Stunning New "Midnight Sapphire" Shade – But It’s Only for Indian Fans

In a move blending exclusivity with vibrant style, Motorola just dropped a head-turning new color for its popular Edge 60 Fusion smartphone—but there’s a catch. Dubbed "Midnight Sapphire," this deep, shimmering blue variant is launching exclusively in India, deepening the brand’s focus on one of its fastest-growing markets.

The Edge 60 Fusion already impressed critics at launch with its curved 6.7-inch pOLED display (144Hz refresh rate), Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, and a 50MP main camera with advanced AI photography. Now, "Midnight Sapphire" joins the existing Cosmic Gray and Forest Green options, targeting users who crave premium aesthetics. Motorola’s design team describes the finish as "a twilight sky captured in glass," with light-refracting particles beneath the surface.

Why India? Market analysts point to Motorola’s 25% year-on-year growth there, fueled by demand for mid-range flagships. As Tarun Pathak, Counterpoint Research Director, notes: "India’s youth-driven market rewards bold design choices. Limited editions create urgency and social buzz—especially when they’re this visually striking."

Interestingly, GSMArena leaked early renders of this color back in March, hinting at Motorola’s plans. While the leak showed a slightly lighter blue, the final product leans into richer, darker tones. For a fun throwback to those first glimpses:
