Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro Leaks Hint at Subtle Upgrades Over Iconic Design
New wireless dongle and ergonomic tweaks spotted, but the mouse stays true to its roots.
Razer’s DeathAdder lineup has dominated esports and gaming desks for over a decade, and a fresh leak suggests the V4 Pro is inching closer to launch. Images shared online reveal a familiar silhouette, but with under-the-hood refinements that could elevate Razer’s flagship ergonomic mouse.
Leaked Details: Evolution, Not Revolution
The DeathAdder V4 Pro, successor to the critically acclaimed V3 Pro, appears to retain the iconic right-handed shape beloved by FPS pros. However, keen-eyed leakers note subtle ergonomic tweaks: a slightly deeper thumb groove and textured side grips for enhanced control. The biggest visible change? A new compact wireless dongle, likely supporting Razer’s HyperSpeed multi-device pairing—a feature gamers have clamored for to reduce USB clutter.
Speculations point to internal upgrades too, including a possible Focus Pro 35K optical sensor (up from 30K in the V3) and Gen-3 optical switches for crisper clicks. Battery life could also see a bump beyond the V3 Pro’s 90 hours.

Why "Samey" Isn’t a Bad Thing
Razer’s reluctance to overhaul the DeathAdder makes sense. The V3 Pro (2022) already nailed weight (63g), balance, and performance—winning awards from PC Gamer and topping Amazon charts. If leaks hold, the V4 Pro iterates on near-perfection rather than reinventing the wheel.
Availability & Competition
No official launch date is confirmed, but history suggests a late Q3 2024 release. The V4 Pro will likely sit above $150, competing with Logitech’s GPX II and Glorious’ Model D Pro. For now, the DeathAdder V3 Pro remains a steal at $129:
