In a move that’s sure to disappoint fans of its premium mid-range lineup, Realme has officially confirmed that a *Realme 15 Pro+* will not see the light of day. The announcement, made directly by Realme’s global spokesperson Francis Wong via Twitter, signals a strategic pivot for the brand as it reevaluates its numbering system and product roadmap.
Wong’s tweet, shared earlier today, ended months of speculation about a successor to the popular Realme 14 Pro series. "After careful consideration, we’ve decided not to launch a Realme 15 Pro+," he stated. "Our team is channeling innovation toward fresh horizons—stay tuned for what’s next!"

Industry analysts suggest the decision reflects Realme’s broader shift toward simplifying its portfolio. The brand recently leapfrogged from the Realme 11 series to Realme 12, skipping multiple numbers entirely—a tactic now echoed by scrapping the "15" tier. Instead, leaks point to an accelerated focus on the Realme GT series for flagship-tier devices and budget C-Series models, leaving the "Pro+" niche temporarily unfilled.
Fan reactions have been mixed. While some lament the loss of a potential camera or performance powerhouse (the Realme 14 Pro+ debuted MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 chip), others applaud Realme for avoiding iterative updates. "This might mean something revolutionary is brewing," commented tech blogger Aaron Lui. "Realme’s playing the long game—they don’t want to stretch themselves thin."
For now, Realme advises users eyeing premium features to explore existing models like the GT 6 or the photography-centric *12 Pro+*. The company’s next major launch is expected in Q4 2024, rumored to debut under a new numerical branding—possibly skipping straight to "Realme 16" or adopting an entirely fresh naming convention.
As the mid-range market grows increasingly crowded, Realme’s bold streamlining could either consolidate its strengths or risk ceding ground to rivals. One thing’s certain: the number "15" won’t be lighting up any spec sheets this year.
To simplify our product line. We won't be launching 15 Pro+ anymore. There will only be realme 15 Pro (To succeed 14 Pro+) and realme 15 (Successor of 14 Pro) . See you on 24th July. 7PM.
