| Decathlon’s new Stilus E-Touring hybrid e-bike |
Decathlon has officially unveiled an updated version of its popular Stilus E-Touring electric hybrid bike, and it comes with a significant design overhaul that is sure to turn heads.
Rolling out across various European markets, the new model—listed formally as the “E-Touring electric hybrid bike with Bosch mid-drive motor and Shimano components”—builds upon the robust foundation of its predecessors while addressing one of the biggest demands from modern commuters: accessibility.
A Frame for Everyone
The most immediate visual change to the Stilus E-Touring is its transition to a low, step-through frame. Unlike the older high-frame versions, this new geometry makes mounting and dismounting effortless, particularly for urban riders wearing work attire or those who prefer a more stable, upright stance at stoplights. Despite the relaxed entry point, Decathlon has retained a rugged aluminum frame construction, available in three sizes (S, M, and L). Riders eyeing the medium variant should note it tips the scales at a sturdy 26 kg (approx. 57.3 lbs), reflecting the durability of its components and the heft of its high-capacity battery.
The Heart of the Beast: Bosch Performance
Underneath the step-through frame lies the same muscle that powered its predecessor: the legendary Bosch Performance Line CX motor. Known in the e-bike world for its agility and responsiveness, this mid-drive motor punches out a robust 85 Nm of torque. Whether you are tackling a steep cobblestone hill or accelerating away from a traffic light, the system provides a natural boost, cutting out at the legal European limit of 25 kph (~16 mph).
Juicing that motor is a massive 750 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery. Fully integrated into the down tube for a sleek look, this power cell is also removable, making charging at an office desk or apartment easy. Decathlon estimates that riders can squeeze up to 130 km (~80.8 miles) out of a single charge in Eco mode, making this a viable option for long-distance commuters and weekend explorers alike.
Upgraded Components and Rolling Stock
Decathlon hasn’t just stopped at the motor; the spec sheet shows a thoughtful upgrade in the drivetrain department. The new Stilus E-Touring now features a Shimano Cues 11-speed drivetrain, replacing the previous Microshift Advent X 10-speed system. The shift to Shimano Cues promises smoother, more durable gear changes, which is ideal for the mixed terrain this "hybrid" bike is designed to tackle.
Stopping power is handled by Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, offering reliable modulation and power in wet or dry conditions. The bike rolls on new Schwalbe Johnny Watts 29 x 2.35-inch tires, a fantastic choice for touring that balances low rolling resistance on pavement with enough grip for gravel paths and light trails.
Suspension duties are managed by the familiar Suntour XCM32 ATB fork, providing 100 mm of travel to smooth out potholes and bumps, ensuring the ride remains "semi-rigid" efficient but comfortable.
Tech, Security, and Practicality
The cockpit is dominated by the Bosch Kiox 3900 control screen. Mounted on the handlebars, this display offers bright, easy-to-read data. A standout feature integrated here is the eBike Lock function, which allows riders to digitally secure their motor, adding a layer of theft deterrent when parked in town.
True to Decathlon’s touring ethos, the bike comes ready to ride straight off the showroom floor. It includes practical accessories such as full-coverage fenders to keep road spray at bay, integrated lighting for visibility, and a sturdy kickstand for easy parking.

The new Decathlon Stilus E-Touring is already hitting the shelves in key European markets. In France and Spain, it is retailing for €3,299.99, while customers in the Netherlands will find it priced at €3,349.99.
