- However, it is also about 12% smaller than the massive 6,800 mAh battery found inside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra sold in China.
This discrepancy creates an interesting dynamic within the new lineup itself. The global Xiaomi 17 Ultra's 6,000 mAh cell will also be 5% smaller (330 mAh less) than the 6,330 mAh battery expected in the global standard Xiaomi 17. This mirrors the battery size difference seen between the two models in their Chinese releases.

The leaks paint a clear picture for potential buyers. Xiaomi appears to be holding the line on flagship smartphone prices with the 17 series, a move that will be applauded in the current economic climate.
