The Hisense 2026 UX RGB MiniLED TV

Hisense is set to redefine premium television technology once again. The Chinese electronics giant has officially confirmed that it will hold a launch event on March 5, 2026, to unveil its new 2026 UX RGB MiniLED TV series in China. The event is highly anticipated, as the new model is expected to be the first from the brand to feature its groundbreaking RGB MiniLED evo technology, highlighted by a world-first "four-core backlight" system.

The announcement was made via the company's official social media channels in China. In a recent post on Weibo, Hisense detailed that the March 5th event will not only introduce the flagship 2026 UX RGB MiniLED TV but will also showcase a series of customized products linked to its prominent sponsorship of the 2026 World Cup.

A New Era of Color: The "Linglong Four-Core True Color Backlight"

The centerpiece of the new technology is what Hisense calls the world's first "Hisense Linglong Four-Core True Color Backlight." For a deeper dive into the official announcements, you can visit Hisense's Weibo page directly.

This innovative backlight architecture was first demonstrated on the colossal 116UXS RGB-X MiniLED TV at CES 2026 in January. While traditional RGB MiniLED uses red, green, and blue light sources, Hisense's evo technology adds a fourth distinct cyan light-emitting chip.

According to information from the event and reports from tech media outlet ITHome , this addition is a game-changer for color performance. By integrating cyan, the TV can achieve a staggering 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut at full brightness—a new industry peak. This results in a noticeably wider and more precise palette of colors, bringing images closer to reality than ever before.

Unprecedented Control with the Hi-View AI Engine

The hardware innovation is paired with powerful processing. The 2026 UX series will be powered by the Hisense Hi-View AI Engine RGB. This intelligent system is designed to manage the complex four-core backlight with incredible accuracy, enabling what Hisense describes as precise 134-bit color control. This ensures that light and color are managed simultaneously at an extremely granular level, minimizing blooming and enhancing contrast for a perfect picture from any source.

A promotional video showcasing these features can also be found on Weibo TV.

Pricing and Global Availability: Still Under Wraps

Following the March 5 launch event in China, the new Hisense 2026 UX RGB MiniLED TV series is expected to be released in the domestic market shortly after. However, pricing for the new UX models has yet to be revealed.

For context, Hisense recently launched its E8S series of RGB-MiniLED TVs in January, with 75-inch, 85-inch, and 100-inch models priced at RMB 12,999, RMB 17,999, and RMB 24,999 respectively. The upcoming UX series is positioned as an even more advanced "super flagship" line, suggesting a premium price point.

Globally, Hisense has yet to confirm an international release date or recommended pricing for either the 2026 UX series or the larger 116UXS RGB-X model. The March 5th event is expected to provide more clarity on the company's immediate plans, particularly as it builds momentum toward its World Cup 2026 sponsorship.

Stay tuned for full coverage from the launch event next week.
