Hot on the heels of last month’s Note 60 Pro debut, Infinix is back with a bang at MWC 2026, and this time, they’ve brought some serious Italian flair. The brand has officially unveiled the Infinix Note 60 Ultra, a device that marks a significant leap into the premium segment.
Developed in collaboration with the legendary Italian design house Pininfarina—the masterminds behind some of the world's most iconic sports cars—the Note 60 Ultra isn't just another mid-range contender. It’s a statement piece packed with flagship-level features, including a massive 200MP camera, two-way satellite communication, and a design that screams sophistication.
Here is everything you need to know about Infinix’s most ambitious smartphone yet.
Design: Where Automotive Elegance Meets Smartphone Durability
The moment you lay your eyes on the Note 60 Ultra, the Pininfarina influence is unmistakable. Infinix has moved away from standard glass sandwiches to offer a premium aluminum unibody design. This isn't just about looks; it provides a rigid, solid feel in the hand that rivals devices twice its price.
The rear of the device is where the artistry truly shines. The camera module, dubbed the "uni-chassis cam module," is seamlessly integrated into the body. To protect this striking setup, Infinix has covered the entire module—lenses and all—with a single, unbroken sheet of Gorilla Glass Victus. This ensures durability without interrupting the visual flow.
Adding a touch of theater to the hardware is the "floating taillight indicator." Located on the back, this dot-matrix display lights up with a subtle glow when you power up the device or receive a notification, mimicking the rear lights of a high-end concept car. It’s a small detail that adds a lot of character.

Performance: The Dimensity 8400 Ultimate Takes the Wheel
Under the hood, the Note 60 Ultra is built to perform. It is powered by the new 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor. This chipset is designed to handle heavy multitasking and intensive gaming with ease, ensuring that the interface feels snappy and responsive.
Paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, there is plenty of room for apps, photos, and videos. To ensure the device doesn't break a sweat during marathon gaming sessions, Infinix has included a 3D IceCore vapor chamber. This advanced cooling system dissipates heat efficiently, keeping performance consistent when you push the phone to its limits.
On the software front, the phone runs Android 16 out of the box, layered with Infinix’s XOS 16. The company is backing this device with a solid long-term commitment, promising three major OS updates (up to Android 19) and security patches extending through to 2031.
Breaking Barriers: Two-Way Satellite Messaging
In a move that sets a new precedent for its category, the Infinix Note 60 Ultra is the first phone in its segment to offer dual-way satellite messaging and calling. This feature is a potential lifesaver for adventurers or those working in remote locations.
When you venture outside the range of standard cellular towers, you can still send messages and share your emergency location via satellite. This ensures that you remain connected when it matters most, bridging the gap between urban life and the great outdoors.
The Camera System: A 200MP Powerhouse
Photography enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to with this device. The triple rear camera setup is anchored by a massive 200MP primary sensor. This allows for incredibly detailed shots and plenty of room for cropping without losing quality.
The supporting cast is just as impressive:
- A 50MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom and a staggering 100x digital zoom.
- A 112° ultrawide camera for sweeping landscapes and group shots.
Whether you are zooming in on distant architecture at a race track or capturing a wide-angle vista from the Amalfi Coast, the Note 60 Ultra appears ready to handle any scenario.
Display and Battery: Bright, Smooth, and Long-Lasting
The viewing experience is handled by a massive 6.78-inch OLED display. It boasts a sharp 1.5K resolution and an incredibly smooth 144Hz refresh rate, making scrolling through social media and playing supported games feel fluid. With a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, visibility under direct sunlight should be excellent.
Powering all these features is a massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. This should easily get most users through a day and a half of heavy use. When it’s time to top up, the 100W wired charging gets you back to full in no time. Plus, for the first time on a Note series, Infinix has included 50W wireless charging, adding a layer of convenience usually reserved for ultra-premium flagships.
The complete package is rounded out by JBL-tuned stereo speakers for immersive audio, eSIM support, Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front, and an IP64 water resistance rating to protect against splashes and dust.
Pricing and Availability
The Infinix Note 60 Ultra will be available in four colorways inspired by Italian automotive and coastal culture: Torino Black, Monza Red, Amalfi Blue, and Roma Silver.
While global pricing is yet to be officially confirmed, the device is launching in Malaysia with a starting price of MYR 3,000, which roughly translates to $760, €665, or £570.
With its blend of Pininfarina design, satellite connectivity, and top-tier specs, the Note 60 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing releases of the year, proving that premium design and innovative technology are no longer reserved for the usual suspects.
