The galaxy of LEGO leaks is buzzing once again. Following recent revelations about the company’s largest set ever, sharp-eyed shoppers on Amazon Singapore have apparently stumbled upon two new additions to the iconic Star Wars license. But while the discovery of new merchandise is usually a cause for celebration, the reaction from the fan community is proving to be a classic case of "a tale of two characters."
According to product listings spotted on the Singaporean e-commerce platform, LEGO is preparing to release two new collectible busts: one of the formidable Sith Lord Darth Vader, and another of the wise Jedi Master Yoda. However, based on the leaked details, only one of them is currently strong with the Force in the eyes of fans.
A Stellar Darth Vader
The first set, reportedly named the 75439 Darth Vader Bust, aims to capture the menacing helmet and armored upper torso of Anakin Skywalker’s alter ego. With a piece count of 349, the model is described as being 14 cm wide and 18 cm tall. Early impressions suggest this set hits the mark.
The leaked information points to well-executed details, including subtle color variations on the iconic black armor that should add a layer of realism. A notable feature is a movable head, allowing collectors to adjust Vader’s gaze as if he is surveying his Death Star domain. For many fans, this bust appears to be a worthy addition to any collection.
The Yoda Conundrum: "Details Are Poor"
The same cannot be said for the second set, the 75438 Yoda Bust. While it contains slightly more pieces (399) and stands taller at 21 cm, its 10 cm width and overall design are already drawing sharp criticism.
Recreating the 900-year-old Jedi Master in brick form has always been a challenge, and according to leaked images and descriptions, this latest attempt struggles with his unique physiology. The feedback highlights that while the character is recognizably Yoda, the execution falls short, particularly in the facial area. Critics point to the details on the face and eyes as being particularly poor, lacking the finesse needed to capture the character’s expressive wisdom.
This isn't the first time LEGO has faced pushback for a Yoda bust. Fans were quick to draw comparisons to the 2018 set 75255, which was also met with mixed reviews and criticism for its aesthetic. This history makes the negative reaction to the new model even more pointed, with some in the community not hesitating to mock the new design online.
Pricing and Availability
Despite the mixed reactions, both sets are slated for a release on May 1, 2026. They will carry different price points, likely reflecting their size and complexity:
- The Darth Vader Bust will retail for $59.99.
- The Yoda Bust will be priced at $49.99.
As a bonus for collectors, each bust will include a minifigure version of the character, offering a smaller, more classic display option alongside the larger build.
For now, the LEGO community waits with bated breath. Will the final product images for Yoda address these concerns, or will this be one Jedi Master best left on the shelf? Only the Force—and future official reveals—will tell.

Supposedly these will be replacing the helmet series & will cost similar, despite being significantly smaller
