| The Mova P70 Pro Ultra launches with a 100-euro discount. |
The budget robot vacuum market just got a serious shake-up. Mova has unveiled the P70 Pro Ultra, a feature-packed cleaning station bundle that undercuts premium rivals by hundreds of euros—on paper, at least.
In an era where flagship robot vacuums often creep past the €1,500 mark, Mova is taking a different approach. The company today introduced the P70 Pro Ultra, the successor to the popular P50 Pro Ultra, with an aggressive launch price that turns heads. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) is set at €699, but until May 12, 2026, early buyers can snag it for just €599 after a €100 discount.
For that kind of money, you’d normally expect a basic navigation robot with a small dustbin. Instead, the P70 Pro Ultra promises flagship-grade specs, including a full cleaning station that not only empties the dust but washes and dries the mops with near-boiling water.
Insane suction on a budget? 30,000 Pa says yes
Let’s talk about that raw power. The P70 Pro Ultra boasts a staggering 30,000 Pa of suction. To put that into perspective: even expensive flagships from late 2024 and early 2025 rarely exceeded 15,000–20,000 Pa. Mova is effectively offering double the suction of what was considered “premium” just last year.
Of course, raw suction isn’t everything. High-end robots rely on clever brush designs to avoid hair tangles, and here Mova made a compromise. The P70 Pro Ultra doesn’t include an anti-tangle brush out of the box at this price point. The good news? You can retrofit one using the optional CleanShop brush. That’s an extra cost, but at least the option exists.
The side brush, however, does extend to sweep debris from corners—though it doesn’t reach quite as far as the system on the more expensive Mova V70 Ultra Complete.

Mopping that reaches out – literally
One of the smartest tricks up the P70 Pro Ultra’s sleeve is its extendable mopping system. One of the two rotating mops (located at the rear) extends sideways from the housing. This allows the robot to scrub along baseboards, furniture legs, and into corners that circular pads would normally miss.
The mops spin at up to 260 rpm and press down with 12 Newtons of force. That’s a respectable amount of downward pressure for stain removal. However, Mova is upfront about the technology’s limits: rotating mop pads are generally less effective at deep cleaning than a roller mop (like the one found in the Mova S70 Roller). Rolling mops continuously scrub with fresh water; rotating pads tend to spread dirt after a while. How well the P70 Pro Ultra handles real-world spills and dried-on juice remains to be seen in independent testing.
The cleaning station: 100°C hot water and auto solution refill
This is where the P70 Pro Ultra really tries to punch above its weight. The included cleaning station does far more than just empty the dustbin. After each mopping run, the station:
- Washes the mops using 100°C hot water (yes, boiling – great for cutting grease and killing bacteria)
- Dries the mops with hot air within one hour, preventing musty smells
- Refills the automatic cleaning solution – a feature you normally only find on €1,000+ models from Roborock or Dreame
For more details, check out the official Mova P70 Pro Ultra product page.
The self-refilling cleaning solution tank is a notable convenience. Most budget station robots require you to manually mix detergent into the fresh water tank. Here, the station handles it automatically, ensuring consistent mopping performance without extra effort.
Who is the Mova P70 Pro Ultra for?
At €599 (or €699 after the launch promotion), the P70 Pro Ultra targets buyers who want a “jack of all trades” cleaning station robot without spending four figures. It’s likely to appeal to:
- First-time robot vacuum owners who want the full station experience (auto-empty, wash, dry) without a massive investment.
- Pet owners – though the missing anti-tangle brush is a downside, the optional CleanShop brush can fix that.
- Homes with mostly hard floors – rotating mops work well on tile, laminate, and sealed wood. The 30,000 Pa suction also handles carpets decently.
If you have mostly deep-pile carpets, the rotating mops won’t lift off the floor (they lift automatically when carpet is detected, but they won’t clean carpets). You’d need a dedicated carpet robot or a model with a lifting roller mop.
Missing features and compromises – what you should know
Let’s be honest: at €599, something had to give. Beyond the lack of a bundled anti-tangle brush, the extendable side brush isn’t as long as on Mova’s own V70 Ultra Complete. The rotating mop technology is also inherently inferior to roller mop systems for scrubbing. And the navigation system? Mova hasn’t specified if this uses LiDAR or vslam – it’s likely a proven LiDAR system, but we’ll need to confirm.
Also, the 100°C hot water mop washing is impressive, but it requires the station to have a heating element and enough water volume. That means the station is larger than basic models – measure your available space under furniture.
Final thoughts: A compelling deal – with caveats
The Mova P70 Pro Ultra is not a perfect robot vacuum. The missing anti-tangle brush (out of the box) and the rotating mop design mean it won’t dethrone premium roller-mop flagships. But at €599 for a full cleaning station with auto solution refill and 100°C mop washing? That’s unprecedented.
If you’re willing to buy the optional CleanShop brush and understand the limits of rotating mop pads, this could be the best value robot vacuum of 2026 so far. Just remember: the €100 discount disappears after May 12.
