Vivo X300 FE Eurozone Launch Confirmed: Pricing, Full Specs, and Availability

The Vivo X300 FE will launch with a teleconverter accessory in Europe.

After a suspiciously quiet debut in early March, Vivo has finally broken its silence on the international rollout of the X300 FE. While the flagship X300 Ultra enjoyed a lavish global unveiling last week, the more modestly positioned FE model seemed destined for a low-key existence – until now.

Vivo quietly began teasing the X300 FE on its Austrian website, marking the first official confirmation of a Eurozone release. Curiously, the company’s product page only references Austria at this stage, despite the X300 Ultra being offered across multiple European countries. The page also reveals two colour options for the region: Luxe Black and Mist Purple. That’s a notable deviation from earlier rumours that suggested a green variant would head to the Indian market – suggesting Vivo may be tailoring its palette by region.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Power, But at a Price

Under the hood, the X300 FE arrives in Europe with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset that recently powered the OnePlus 15R (currently $699 on Amazon). That’s a flagship-grade processor by any measure, so performance shouldn’t be a concern. Vivo pairs it with a massive 6,500 mAh battery – a welcome capacity for endurance-focused users – and supports both 50W wireless and 90W wired charging. That’s an unusually generous wireless charging spec for a non-Ultra model.

Cameras and the Curious Teleconverter

Photography gets a triple 50 MP rear-facing camera setup. But the real surprise is the optional 200 mm teleconverter accessory. According to Vivo, this add-on can extend the device’s native 3x optical zoom to an effective 8.5x when needed. It’s a niche tool, but mobile photographers who frequently shoot distant subjects might find it genuinely useful – something you rarely see bundled (or even offered) with a “FE” series phone.

Display and Durability

The front houses a 6.31-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,640 x 1,216 pixels – sharp enough for crisp text and HDR content. Peak brightness hits a staggering 5,000 nits, which theoretically makes the screen perfectly readable under direct summer sunlight. The 120 Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling smooth, and Vivo has managed to squeeze all of this into an 8.2 mm-thick chassis that weighs just 192 grams. That’s impressively light for a phone with a 6,500 mAh cell.

Durability-wise, the X300 FE carries an IP69 rating, meaning it can withstand high-temperature, high-pressure water jets – a step beyond the usual IP68 dust/immersion resistance. So yes, you could theoretically wash this phone under a tap without worry.

Eurozone Pricing and Pre-Order Bonus

Here’s where things get contentious. The Vivo X300 FE will be available for purchase in the Eurozone on April 29, priced at €999 (approximately $1,170). That’s a surprisingly high asking price for an “FE” (Fan Edition) device – it sits perilously close to full-fat flagship territory. For context, the OnePlus 15R with the same chipset sells for $699, though that model lacks the teleconverter accessory and IP69 certification.

Potential buyers can soften the blow slightly: Vivo is offering a €50 discount to anyone who signs up on Vivo’s official product page before April 28. That brings the effective price down to €949, but it’s still a premium sum for a phone that isn’t the Ultra.

Final Thoughts

The X300 FE is shaping up to be a peculiar beast: flagship internals, a massive battery with wireless charging, an IP69-rated slim body, and a unique teleconverter accessory – all wrapped in a €999 package that challenges the definition of “Fan Edition.” Whether European consumers will bite at that price remains to be seen, but at least Vivo is finally talking about its international plans.
