Shuttle has quietly unveiled a new variant of its XPC Slim DH810 mini PC, and while it retains the impressive processing power of its predecessor, a careful look at the port selection reveals some significant changes that tell an interesting story about industrial computing priorities.

Like its higher-end sibling, this compact powerhouse supports desktop-class Intel Arrow Lake CPUs with up to a whopping 96 GB of DDR5 RAM. But the devil, as they say, is in the details—and in this case, those details are literally found around the edges of the machine.

What's Different About the I/O?

The most noticeable change comes in the port department. While the DH810 boasted a more generous selection of high-speed connectivity, the DH810S takes a more modest approach. Here's what you're looking at:
