The fifth collaboration between the iconic Waterbury watchmaker and the NYC-based menswear brand brings nautical flair to a military-inspired field watch.
Timex has been keeping busy lately. While their highly anticipated collaboration with Huckberry may be facing an indefinite delay, the storied watchmaker isn't slowing down. This time, they've teamed up with New York-based menswear brand Noah for their fifth joint timepiece—and it's easily their sportiest offering to date.
The new Noah x Timex MK1 Anchor takes the brand's military-inspired MK1 design and gives it a distinctly nautical makeover, resulting in a simple yet striking field watch that looks perfectly at home on the water.
Design That Blends Military Heritage with Maritime Style
At first glance, the MK1 Anchor is immediately recognizable as a Timex—but the Noah influence is unmistakable. The watch features a 36mm stainless steel case that houses a pale dial accented with bold red and refreshing mint-green details. Large Arabic numerals mark the even hours, while minute markers trace the outer edge for precise timekeeping.

What's Under the Hood?
While full specifications are still forthcoming, GQ reports that the MK1 Anchor is powered by a reliable quartz movement and features an acrylic crystal—a choice that keeps the watch accessible while maintaining a vintage feel. The watch comes fitted to a black fabric strap with red racing stripes, and buyers will also find a solid-blue fabric strap included in the box.
One area where some enthusiasts might raise an eyebrow is the water resistance rating. At 30 meters, it's adequate for splashes and rain, but for a watch built around a nautical theme, we would have loved to see at least 50 meters of water resistance. On the plus side, the quick-release spring bars make strap changes a breeze.

The Noah x Timex MK1 Anchor represents a nice change of pace for both brands. Previous collaborations, which included the hugely popular Tank, Sun and Moon, Lighthouse, and Oval Moon Phase models, have largely focused on vintage-inspired dress watches. This new release signals a shift toward more rugged, everyday wearability.
The watch goes on sale Thursday, August 27, at 11 AM ET and is priced at $248. It will be available through Noah's website and physical stores.
