If you've been on the hunt for a small Android tablet that doesn't compromise on features, Alldocube might have just what you're looking for. The iPlay 80 mini Pro, which has already been making waves in Japan and China under the name iPlay Mini 4, is now making its way to the Eurozone and the UK through Amazon.

For those who missed our earlier coverage, both versions of this tablet pack identical hardware under the hood. You're getting an 8.4-inch LCD display with a crisp 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Powering everything is a Unisoc T7300 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS storage.
Need more space? Alldocube says you can expand storage by up to 1TB using a microSD card. That said, technically speaking, 2TB cards might work just fine too.
The tablet's compact dimensions—202.7 x 126 x 7.3mm (roughly 7.98 x 4.96 x 0.29 inches)—make it easy to hold in one hand. It also supports Widevine L1, which means you can stream copyright-protected HD content from your favorite services without any hassle. Samsung's Galaxy Tab A9 is another compact Android tablet with LTE connectivity, so it's worth comparing the two. The Galaxy Tab A9 features an 8.7-inch display, but it comes with a lower 1,340 x 800 resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It's also a bit heavier at 332g (0.73 lb), while the iPlay 80 mini Pro weighs in at around 300g (0.66 lb).

The 6,050mAh battery supports up to 18W USB-C charging with Power Delivery. That's faster than the Galaxy Tab A9's 15W charging, though it can't match the 45W charging offered by the Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus.
Alldocube reports that the iPlay 80 mini Pro has already sold over 3,000 units through AliExpress and has built a solid following in Japan.

The iPlay 80 mini Pro is now available on Amazon in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The regular price is listed at €199.99 ($228), but there's an introductory price of €139.99 ($160) when you apply a €50 Amazon coupon and an additional 5% discount with the company's promotional code. This offer runs from September 23 to September 30.
In the UK, the tablet is priced at £199.99 ($265), with an introductory price of £119.99 ($159) after a £70 Amazon coupon and an additional 5% discount.
