After a series of tantalizing teasers, iQOO has finally pulled back the curtain on the design of its highly anticipated gaming tablet, the iQOO Pad Ultra. The brand has confirmed that this device is set to be a flagship gaming tablet, powered by a next-generation performance SoC. In the latest promotional materials, iQOO showcased the tablet in two distinct colorways: a sleek white and a classic black.
As hinted at in previous teasers, the rear of the tablet features a dedicated ventilation port designed for an active cooler. The promotional renders suggest that the cooling fan will be positioned directly below the square camera island. This active cooling setup could be the key feature that gives the iQOO Pad Ultra the edge it needs to compete with upcoming gaming tablets from Lenovo Legion and RedMagic.
Regarding the rear camera island, it appears to house a single sensor. Notably, there's also an RGB ring light, a feature similar to what Lenovo integrated into its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-equipped Tab Gen 5. For more official updates and teasers, you can check out iQOO's official Weibo page.
In the teasers, iQOO has reiterated that the Pad Ultra will feature an 8.8-inch display, which should give it a similar form factor to the Legion Tab Gen 5. While the brand hasn't confirmed the panel type, previous reports suggest it will be an OLED screen.
Alongside showcasing the rear design, iQOO has announced two accessories for the Pad Ultra. One is a controller that looks similar to the Legion G7 (comparable to the Razer Kishi V3 Pro XL, currently $159.99 on Amazon), while the other is a case that adds grips on the back for enhanced comfort during prolonged gaming sessions.
Other details about the tablet are still under wraps, but the gaming tablet was recently spotted on Geekbench. According to the listing, it will feature the next-gen Qualcomm flagship SoC, rumored to be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. It's also expected to pack a massive 9,000mAh battery and narrow bezels. iQOO is expected to share more teasers before the launch event, which is set for September 29, 2026.
