Apple patents Touch ID

Apple recently patented a fingerprint sensor technology in the Touch ID display, which is presented in the Apple Smart Watch.

Apple is preparing to bring in-screen fingerprint sensor technology for future versions of Apple's smart watches, where Apple has already registered a patent for the technology at the US Patent Office.


The patent file for Apple's technology is entitled “Antenna Assemblies For Watch Bands,” and according to patent plans, the antenna technology will come inside the smart watch bracelet, with a flexible design that supports bending and extension for the convenience of the user.

It is also planned that the antennas in the smart watch bracelet will communicate with the watch face and the screen that will support the technology of the fingerprint sensor in the display, temperature sensor, with a pressure sensor.


Other leaks have revealed that Apple is working on a patented technology that supports user identity verification through the palm of the hand, which will also support work on the Apple smart watch, while the new patent identifies the fingerprint sensor in particular in the smart watch screen, and is expected to support  This technology is Apple Pay, an alternative to using a scanner, or a four-digit passcode.
