Unlike consumer devices, the web interface is very useful and useful. The configuration is simple and works well. I also deleted the router and did not find any security problems. Previous WiFi routers encountered unprecedented security issues and Netgear had no plans to develop firmware. Meanwhile, Peplink is always updating the firmware. Since it is a high-quality product, it can stay online for a long time. I purchased this wireless router for home and nonprofits. Since no communication unit is lost, it should not be restarted. To my surprise, this device is not sold in office supply stores that only sell the same customer devices that you can buy anywhere else. I was also surprised because it is a higher quality device and more stable than any other product offered at a general price. Therefore, the device was not regularly checked by computer magazines.
Neither Amazon nor Peoplelink have indicated that the product comes with an antenna. Amazon recommends purchasing an antenna with the device. Imagine you would be surprised if there was an antenna in the box. However, there are no installation instructions in the box - no paper of any kind. I had to access Peplink on my phone and couldn't find any instructions. Finally, I went to their community forum and received advice. (First via an Ethernet connection, go to 192.168.50.1; UserId: admin; PWD: admin.)
Safe and secure
Change the administrator user ID and password. Divide your network into different VLANs and assign a separate SSID for each VLAN to keep internal data traffic independent. Say goodbye to unsecured WPS.
