Huawei acquires Apple's largest market share in China

According to Canalys market research report on the Chinese smartphone market in the last quarter of 2019, Huawei's boom in 2019 came at the expense of its smallest Chinese competitor and Apple Development, despite the decline in the smartphone market and consumer preference for 5G phones.

Huawei, the largest Chinese smartphone maker, headquartered in Shenzhen, increased its shipments from 104.8 million a year earlier to 142 million in 2019, an increase of 35.5 percent, while Apple's iPhone shipments increased by 21%.  This is 27.5 million per year.

At that time, the domestic smart phone market decreased by 15% annually, and smartphone sales declined in 2018 and 2019 as consumers postponed purchases and waited for the company to launch other models using 5G technology,

Huawei launched four of these devices in China and two Xiaomi.  Other Chinese companies that manufacture smart devices with the Android operating system also want to launch mobile phones that support 5G networks.  Hope Chinese consumers start.  After the deployment of the fifth generation network, it was decided to update the device.  Most major cities.

Total shipments of Xiaomi decreased by about 21% during the year, while OPPO and VIVO shipments decreased by 17% and 19% during the same period.

Huawei remains at the center of trade tensions between China and the United States.  Last year, Washington imposed restrictions on the Chinese company, which caused US suppliers to stop selling goods and services to them after discussing national security concerns.

Huawei has denied the allegations, but the restrictions have little impact on the company's ability to sell mobile phones locally.

The sanctions have increased Huawei sales in China related to consumer purchases across the country and thanks to the company's active marketing methods.

After peaking in recent years, Huawei's fate has risen due to lower iPhone sales in 2017 and 2018. Apple Inc. discounts given to the iPhone last year to increase sales, a decision that Tim Cook later announced successfully.

Canalys estimates that iPhone sales fell 12% in the quarter ended December 31, compared to 28% in the previous quarter, but Apple could see improvement this year as the company is expected to launch the first iPhone.  IPhone with 5G technology.

According to Nicole Peng of Canalys, which tracks Chinese smartphones, the company's latest iPhone 11 model is the best-selling 4G device in China.  According to Ping, older models still dominate overall sales.
