Review NETGEAR CM700-100NAS DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

NETGEAR CM700-100NAS DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

I've read many reviews about the Netgear CM700 and potential issues with the Intel Puma 6 chipset. Several online test reports on the cable modem indicate leakage and jitter issues. I called Netgear Technical Support and learned that a firmware update had solved these problems and was no longer valid. I have bought a Netgear CM700 cable modem and I will tell you. Do not be later than one to two years from online reviews.

On June 15, 2018, web browsing slowed and I think it's a cable modem. After researching it, I found that one of the biggest problems with hidden and slow internet browsing is due to the standard DNS server provided by the internet service provider. I changed the settings for the Google Public DNS DNS server, and the difference is day and night. Although internet speed tests can produce similar results, using Google's general DNS settings has made browsing the web on many semi-fast websites more boring. I'm very happy to use Netgear CM700 with the Puma 6 chipset.
