SanDisk Launches Its First 8 TB Portable Drive

SanDisk announced today during its participation in CES 2020 Consumer Electronics in Las Vegas that this model is by far the largest model of external SSD storage capacity.

SanDisk 8 TB portable storage drives are small enough to fit in your pocket. It also supports SuperSpeed USB transfer rates of up to 20Gbps.

Although external storage drives are still only prototypes and it will take some time to convert them into marketable products, the company has announced the launch of a very compact 1TB flash drive called SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB and USB-C port. Sales are expected later this year.

It should be noted that SanDisk first introduced its flash memory as a prototype in CES 2018, which is now a consumer product.

The company has not announced the price of SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe, but confirmed its purchase this quarter.
