Huawei plans to preinstall popular apps to circumvent the ban

According to the Russian site, Huawei has decided to launch its smartphone with 70 pre-installed apps to overcome the U.S. ban, which prohibits the use of Google services and applications in its new phones.

The mobiltelefon said the apps installed on Huawei phones also include Google services and application replacement as well as the more popular Android apps on Google Play Store. The site obtained this information from Huawei's speech to reporters in Eastern European countries when the company announced plans to overcome the ban imposed by President Donald Trump since May 1 last year.

By installing the most popular Android apps on mobile phones, Huawei wants to solve the problem of lack of Google Play Store and make installing external APKs unnecessary. Depending on the location, previously installed apps vary by country because they focus on the most popular apps in each country. However, the company will not be able to include the most popular apps in all countries of the world, including US apps like WhatsApp and Facebook.

The company will seek to replace Google services as the Huawei Video app is used in place of YouTube and Tom Maps instead of Google Maps.

According to the Russian site, Huawei will start implementing new plans, and there are plans to launch the P40 Pro, P40 Pro, P40 Lite and P40 Lite phones starting in late March next year.
