Lenovo announces several new ThinkPad computers

Lenovo announced a series of ThinkPad series laptops on Monday due to concerns over the spread of the Corona virus, which should have been announced at the canceled MWC 2020.

The Chinese company is accustomed to advertising new ThinkPad computers every year at the CES Consumer Electronics Show and MWC Mobile World Congress. Please note that ThinkPad series computers are older since the first version of these computers was introduced in 1992.

New laptops include ThinkPad X13 and ThinkPad X13 Yoga, which lag behind 13.3-inch computers (ThinkPad X390) and feature the smallest ThinkPad computer.

The new computer is equipped with the latest 10th-generation Intel processors, 2TB internal memory (SSD) PCIe memory and integrated graphics. The ThinkPad X13 computer also contains 32 GB of RAM, while the ThinkPad X13 Yoga computer contains 16 GB of RAM. The first came with Thunderblolt 3 and the other one was missing. Both devices support next-generation Wi-Fi 6 networks.

Both devices also support PrivacyGuard, which uses the device’s camera to detect if someone is looking behind to warn or obscure the screen. ThinkPad X13 Yoga has an OLED display and 4K resolution. Both devices will be available in the second quarter of 2020, starting at $ 849 for one computer (X13) and from $ 1,099 for one computer (X13 Yoga).

Lenovo introduced new versions of ThinkPad T-series computers, including ThinkPad T14 and ThinkPad T14S, and ThinkPad T150 computer, including the back. For a computer (ThinkPad T590).

What distinguishes the new computers is that it has a tenth-generation Intel processor, a 2 TB PCIe SSD internal memory and a 4K screen. T14S and T14 computers also support PrivacyGuard. T14 and T15 computers have external Nvidia GeForce MX330 graphics cards.

Lenovo plans to launch these devices in the second quarter of 2020. T14S computers start at $ 849, T14 computers start at $ 1029, and T15 computers start at $ 1079.

Lenovo introduced new L-series computers, including: (ThinkPad L13), (ThinkPad L14), and (ThinkPad L15). The advantage of these devices is that they are equipped with a 10th-generation Intel processor and have an integrated graphics card. However, it has lower specifications compared to (X) and (T) series computers.

The company plans to launch new computers in the second quarter of 2020: (L13) (L13 Yoga), (L14) and (L15) at $ 679, $ 799, $ 649 and $ 649, respectively. Note that T14S, T14, X13, L14 and L15 computers will be available on models including the next AMD Ryzen Pro 4000 processor. However, the company has not announced when it will be available.
