WhatsApp starts testing dark mode on desktop

XDA-Developer reports that WhatsApp started testing the dark mode of the web version of its app on a mobile device a few weeks after launching the app.

This dark state should be supported in WhatsApp. About a year ago, the app was used by over 1.5 billion active users every month and the job monitor screen released several shots in the beta version of the app from time to time. Last January, WhatsApp received support for the dark situation on Android, and users were waiting for it to be available in the desktop version.

XDA-Developer today released screenshots explaining that WhatsApp has started testing the dark mode on the desktop version. The site found references to the desktop version function 0.4.930 for the service.

On the screenshot posted by the website, we can see that the dark mode on the desktop is similar to the dark mode in WhatsApp on Android. Since the functionality is still in beta, WhatsApp can make changes to it before offering it to future users.
