WhatsApp will bring self-destructing messages soon

Facebook contains WhatsApp, the most popular messaging app, and plans to offer a feature that has been included in other messaging apps for a while, which is self-destructing messages, as it recently enabled all users to enter dark switching mode.

According to WABetaInfo, which monitors beta functionality of WhatsApp, messaging app developers released two beta versions of Android apps (2.20.83 and 2.20.84) which are included in private chat group options for self-destruct messages.

This feature is very useful for users who have memory problems on their phones. Users can expire messages between one hour, day, week, month, and year.

This function automatically deletes messages the user sends after a certain time. Once the timer is set, the clock icon will appear next to the time the message was sent. The user can continue if the message has disappeared and be sure to delete it.

This feature should only be used in group chats, but it is also shown in personal chats in beta, and things can change before they officially appear.

According to reports, the self-destructing messaging feature in the app was not officially available and is still under development. This means that WhatsApp development team is working on this feature, but it does not have a specific release date.
