Facebook today (Thursday) announced the launch of the Windows PC messaging app from Microsoft and Mac OS from Apple.
Facebook, which has the largest social network in the world, said in an article: The app has been launched to help users make video calls on their computers and stay in touch with friends and family all over the world.
The company added that over the past month, the number of people using Messenger app for voice and video calls through desktop browsers has increased by 100%. There is now a service app for Windows and Mac OS that offers unlimited free calls.
According to Facebook, the messenger app for desktop systems can make video calls in full screen mode, communicate with all friends in Messenger, and keep other things on the computer during the call.
The app supports notifications and synchronizes calls between mobile devices and desktop devices. Supports dark mode.
The Messenger desktop app can also be downloaded from the Microsoft Store for Windows and the App Store for Mac OS.
