America is moving to ban the chips from Huawei and China, hinting at a response

China is preparing to add US companies to its "Untrusted Companies List" to respond to Washington's ban on Huawei's semiconductor supplies. This is evident from a report published by the Global Times on Friday.

The report cites sources saying, in addition to stopping the purchase of Boeing aircraft, these measures include conducting investigations and imposing restrictions on US companies such as Apple, Cisco, and Qualcomm.

Global Times is associated with the People's Daily, the official newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party. Although Global Times is not an official spokesperson for the party, he believes his views reflect those of its leaders.

The Trump administration has already taken steps today to prevent global chip manufacturers from sending semiconductors to Huawei. This has exacerbated tensions with China.

The US Department of Commerce said: The US Department of Commerce has revised its export law: "In strategic terms, Huawei has acquired semiconductors that are a direct product of certain US plans and technologies."
